Within the church:

Helps to inform the church family of our foreign mission needs through:

Personal funds,

Personal prayer needs,

Field funds,

Field personal required.

Works to inform our church family, where we as a curch support, and where they serve.

Within the community:

Provide funds and volunteers for Morrow County Jail Ministry.

Provide funds and volunteers for Gideons.

Prayer support for those incarcerated and the officers that serve the prisons.

Volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and volunteers and funds for Heart Beat of Morrow County.

The Overall Goal of the Missions Ministry is:

As with all of the efforts within Open Arms our goal is:

1. Win souls to Christ and his church.

2. Pray for those who have dedicated their lives in full time service to God.

 

Missions Ministry

Open Arms supports the following local Missions:

Habitat for Humanity, Heartbeat of Morrow County, Morrow County Prison Ministry, SWAGG and Gideons International.

 

In addition we support the following Missionaries to spread the hope of Jesus Christ through all the nations.

Bruce & Mabel Calendar — serving by mobilizing prayer, new missionaries, and finances for evangelism in Mozambique.

Ted & Angela Chandler family — raising funds and preparing to go serve with the Radio Ministry in Ecuador.

John & Tricia Fraser family — John is serving with the Wesleyan Alliance Theological School in Hungary.

Aimee Howarth — teaching Woman’s Bible studies, discipleship and leadership training in Mozambique.

Melvin & Sharon Kelly family — raising funds & preparing to go to Mozambique.

Jerry & Mildred Peterson — serving in Radio Broadcasting in the Honduras
