Praise and Prayer Requests for 2013

12-29-13

• Please continue to pray for Les Wenger and his family as he heals.
• Please continue to pray for Evelyn Ritchey’s son who was in a car accident on Monday.
• Kristy Lawson wants to thank everyone for their prayers for Joe. He is doing well after his triple bypass.
• Please pray for the Kunze family. Verlton’s mother Betty passed away on Wednesday.
• Please pray for Doris Pletcher’s supervisor’s wife who had a procedure on Wednesday.

12-15-13

• Please pray for Les Wenger. He fell from a second story at work. He had surgery yesterday, and it was determined before surgery that he has a shattered pelvis, and several fractured ribs. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
• Please pray for a young, four-year old, girl named Eve. She fell and was transported to Columbus on Friday. She has a small brain bleed.
• Please pray for Kristy Lawson’s friend, Joe, who is like a father to her. He had a heart attack on Wednesday night. He will have a bypass surgery sometime soon.
• Please also pray for Kristy’s mom who will need support throughout the process.
• Please continue to pray for Raney Giles. They are currently working to save her sight, and hopefully determine the cause of her troubles.
• Please pray for Candy’s cousin, Sherry, who had her foot amputated on Thursday. It had deteriorated from Rheumatoid arthritis
• Please pray for Norm Brown’s mother. She was taken to Med Central’s Emergency Room on Tuesday.
• Please pray for Matt Maglott, who is very sick with the flu.

• Please make sure to thank Kelly P., Carol S., Renee, and all those involved with Journey To Bethelehem! It was a wonderful experience!
• Please continue to pray for Amy Reeder’s sister, Jenny. Her PET scan showed a few hot spots so they are going to do more biopsies to rule everything out.
• Please pray for Kristy Lawson’s friend’s father. He was just diagnosed with lung cancer, and will also have to go to the hosptial Monday to get his heart shocked.
• Please pray for Alana and Nathaniel who had a healthy baby boy, Gabriel on December 6, 2013.

• Please keep the Heilman family in your prayers, as Al Heilman’s father passed away last Sunday night.
• Please pray for Matt Wiseman’s family as his grandmother passed away Saturday night.
• Please pray for Carleen, a friend of Anne Kunze’s, who just found out she has breast cancer and it is fast growing.
• Please pray for Chris Wright, Patsy Wenger’s niece. She was shopping in Columbus and started having severe chest pains. She was taken to the Grant Hopsital Emergency Room.

• Please pray for Amy Reeder’s sister, Jenny Blanton. She was disagnosed with melanoma stage three and will have an MRI and PET scan to see if it has spread to anywhere else in her body.
• Please pray for Gary Stewart who had complications from a bone graft surgery.
• Praise the Lord for new arrivals! Haley and Scott welcomed baby Hunter into the world on Wednesday and both she and the baby are doing well.
• Please pray for Brian, Lisa, and Tammy’s niece Raney Giles. Raney is having major vision problems and visited a neurologist on Friday to have some tests done.
• Thank you to everyone for the prayers for Tara’s sister, she received her test results and it is not cancer!
• Please keep the Heilman family members in your prayers, as Al Heilman Sr. is not doing very well. Please pray for strength as a family as we come up to the holiday.

• Please pray for Cynthia Seitz who underwent testing for unterine cancer.
• Please pray for Dave and Robin Lester. Dave and his mom, who is living with them, have some health issues and could use some prayer.
• Please pray fro Ashley Harden and her family. Carrie Reeve was only 27 years old and was tragically killed in a car accident.
• Please pray for Norm Brown’s family. His mother was taken to the hospital on Thursday.
• Please pray for Debbie, who just found out she has a large mass in her colon.
• Please pray for the family of Dana Saunders, who passed away on Friday due to cancer.
• Thank you to Heartbeat of Morrow County for their inspiring message last Sunday!

11-10-13

• Please pray for Haley Young who was in the hospital earlier this week.
• Please pray for James Thew, Christy Wright’s son, he was in a car accident, and has fractures in his back. He is stable.
• The Peterson family welcomed a little boy into the world on Thursday. Avery Mark Peterson came in weighing 6lbs 2oz and was 21” long.
• Thank the Lord for the amazing opportunity to listen to guest speakers, Adam and Kalyn Waller last week.
• Please pray for the Al and Honey Heilman. (Al Jr.’s father) they need a lot of prayer at this time.

• Please pray for Micah a two year old boy who went through a very traumatic experirence this week. However, also praise the Lord that Micah is healed and at home!
• Please pray for Cody and Heather Setser, their mother passed away on Friday.
• Please pray for Roger’s family. Roger’s uncle passes away on Wednesday.
• It’s November! Which means Thanksgiving is coming up! As we come up to this holiday, try and take a moment each day to thank God for the blessings in your life!

10-27-13

• Please pray for LeAnn Knight’s father, Terry Butler, who as in a car accident last Saturday. The accident knocked his heart out of rhythm.
• Please pray for a friend of Sam Brocwell’s. Her friend had a biopsy done and found out she has ducal carcinoma. She is having a mastectomy in two weeks.
• Please pray for Candy’s friend Bonnie; she had surgery on Thursday following complications from her double mastectomy.
• Please pray for Sammi’s boyfriend Josh’s grandma, Billie. She had major surgery on Tuesday and will be in the hospital for at least a week of more recovering.
• Please pray for one of new church members, Jeff. He had open-heart surgery on Thursday to have a pacemaker put in. Please pay for his swift recovery.
• Please pray for Candy’s cousin Kevin, he had a tumor in his neck and tonsils removed on Thursday, and also had a biopsy of tongue to see if the cancer has spread.
• Please pray for Candy’s friend Mike, who went to the nerve specialist and he had a heart cath on Friday.
• Please pray for Patsy Wenger’s sister Linda. She was sent to Grant hospital with severe chest pains and was supposed to have a heart cath.
• Please pray for Les and Patsy as they travel to see her.

• Please pray for Tara’s father, Eugene; he had surgery on Wednesday.
• Please pray for Candy’s cousin, Kevin. He has been diagnosed with Lymphoma.
• Please pray for clear vision for those who have dedicated their time to be on the  Ministry Search Team.
• Thank the Lord for the beautiful weather we have had recently, and pray that it continues through our Harvest Party!
• Thank the lord for the little blessings that we are celebrating today after church!

• Please pray for Vicki Brubaker’s sister. They found another tumor.
• Please pray for Birt Scott he had a biopsy Tuesday morning.
• Please continue to pray for Gary and Nancy Stewart.
• Please pray for Rosie Heilman, and her boyfriend Logan Bell who are currently in California. They could use some general support as they are far from home.
• The Orellana family wants to thank Open Arms for all of the support they have given recently.

• Please pray for Tina Kuenkele’s brother Ed Ault, he had triple by-pass surgery on Friday.
• Please pray for Luke Benner, a young child with cancer.
• Please pray for Candy’s supervisor’s granddaughter, Isabelle. She is nine and being tested for brain tumors.
• Keep the Pletcher’s in your prayers as they continue to follow God’s will.

• Please pray for Matt Wiseman’s mother. She had some tests run at the beginning of this week.
• Please pray for an old co-worker of Candy’s who lost her granddaughter in a car accident.
•  Please pray for Mary and Krista’s mother who had surgery this past week.
• Please pray for Sharon’s sister in-law Beth, she was placed in ICU.
• Thank you for everyone who could help at the work day!

• Please pray for Tara’s friend Karen who had a bypass surgery this week.
• Please pray for baby Destler. He is having many health issues, and needs lots of prayers!
• Thank you for the chance for the men of our community to have a retreat! They had 12 attendees, and had a great time in fellowship together!
• Please pray for Roger’s co-worker Rick and family. They had to take Rick’s stepfather off of life support.
• Gary and Nancy Stewart, who need financial prayer, and prayers for health.
• Please pray for Lillian, Larry F.’s Mother.

• Please pray for baby Destler. He is having many health issues, and needs lots of prayer.

• Please pray for Kim and Duido Orrelana, they are involved with missions to Ecudaor, and have many house problems.

8-25-13

• Thank you for all the prayers for Candy’s friend Bonnie, she had surgery on the 19th.  She was discharged and was told that it was highly unlikely she would need radiation, or chemotherapy. Praise the Lord!
• Please pray for Katie’s husband who has an abscess on his brain. He had surgery on the 20th.
• Please pray for Shane Pierson, a Northmor Elementary teacher, he has pneumonia and mono.
• Please pray for Sammi’s boyfriend’s grandmother, Billie. She has some health issues and could use the prayer.
• Please pray for the Pletcher’s as they work through the next few weeks. Trusting in what God has in store for you can be a difficult and courageous thing to do, so let’s encourage them through prayer!
• Alanna Maglott’s, mother Kay’s surgery went well! Thank you for everyone’s prayers!

• Please pray for Larry and his mother. They could use the encouragement, and prayers.

8-18-13

• Please pray for Teresa Shelley’s niece, who is  had health issues. Please also pray for Erica’s son, Destler, who hasn’t gained any weight, and has had trouble breathing.
• Please pray for Matt and Angie Maglott’s neighbor, Mr. Winn, who is in stage four cancer. He had chemotherapy treatment on Friday.
• Please pray for Nathaniel Maglott’s mother-in-law who also is having surgery, and this is her third bout with cancer.
• Please pray for Julie Leonhard’s cousin Mike. He had an abnormal stress test, and will have tests on Monday.
• Please pray for Gary Stewart, he severed his thumb and was sent to Riverside.
• Thank the lord for the amazing weather we had for our outside service! As well as to all those who brought food for the potluck.
• Please pray for the Kunze’s cousin’s friend Jerry Largay who was hiking the Appalachian trail and disappeared, she has been missing for almost three weeks.
• Please pray for Kim and Duido Orrelana, they are involved with missions to Ecudaor, and have many house problems.
• Please pray for Missy Bogg’s youngest niece Macie. She had a large part of her finger accidently severed.

8-11-13

• Please pray for Norm Brown’s sister Judy Manley, who had a partial knee replacement.
• Please keep Mary Meadows son, Luke and his dad’s family, in your prayers. Luke’s great grandpa passed away.
• Please pray for Lisa Walker’s sister in law. She needs prayers sent for her father who is having many health issues. Please pray for the famil as well as the father.
• Lisa Miracle sends out HUGE thank you to all the girls who attended Women of Faith this weekend, as they laughed and cried and grew closer to God. (Also a Thank You to God for forgiving the traffic violations of 1000’s of women.)

7-28-13

• Please pray for Lorrie Williams, she is having medical issues, and will have testing done next week.
• Please pray for Raygen’s boyfriend’s grandma, Debbie Blubaugh. She has had very low blood pressure, and was in the ER twice last week.
• Please keep Candy in your prayers, that everything goes well for her surgery next week.
• Please pray for Teresa Shelley’s mother, Judy Keeton.
• Praise the Lord that VBS starts this week, and we will have many children learning more and more about the word of God this week!
• Praise the Lord for the wonderful people who volunteered in the Relay for Life this past weekend!

7-21-13

• Please keep Shannon Lilly and family in your prayers. Her grandmother Shirley Norman passed away.
• Please keep Ben Pletcher in your prayers. He had an inflamed and neurotic appendix. His surgery went well, and let’s pray he has a swift recovery!
• Please pray for Nelda and Dick Spore. Dick has cancer, and is on bed rest. Nelda fell on Wednesday and broke her hip. She then had surgery on Thursday.
• Please pray for Candy’s friend B.J. she has another bout of breast cancer and will be undergoing a double mastectomy in a few weeks.
• Let’s give a big round of applause to Leeann Shirley for doing a GREAT job with the bulletin! Thank you Leeann!
• Let’s also send a huge thank you to Lisa Miracle for doing the schedules, for the various duties throughout OACC!
